A GLASGOW-BASED ethical lender has won the contract to provide ex-servicemen and women, with funding to set up their own businesses when they leave the services and return to civilian life. Not-for-profit DSL, which runs a £1.5m loan fund for small firms that can’t get money from the bank will offer start-up loans of up to £7,500 and business growth loans of up to £30,000 to service leavers in Scotland to help them get their idea off the ground or expand an existing firm.
