WALKER, the 58-stone polar bear at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie, gets his teeth into a new collection of toys provided by his keepers. They include a workman’s hat, a traffic cone and an old barrel. The Park is owned by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) charity. Large, pliable plastic objects appear to be the favourite plaything for Walker, who was born in a Dutch zoo two and a half years ago. The bear recently received dental surgery for an abscess and tooth problem.
