Scottish international aid agency SCIAF has received over £1m in total for its emergency work in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan. Working with local partners on the ground across the affected countries SCIAF is providing food and cash transfers to the most vulnerable, clean water and hygiene support, cashforwork programmes, buying livestock unlikely to survive, providing emergency livestock feeding and carrying out drought resistant seed planting.
