Labour ties no problem for Irvin

Irvin is a former adviser to Gordon Brown and John Prescott, and applied for Labour General Secretary in June. “All I care about is if the government is doing good things for the local voluntary sector,” he said. He also held senior roles in the Transport & General Workers’ Union.
